A name or location entered into a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates it. That provider processes the request and supplies its result. We do not retain or record those search terms on our systems.

We retain an email message when needed to answer it. The message remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
We do not keep, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal records. The site explains how to reach the Shackelford County sheriff and courts, Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. Government access and release rules arise from laws such as the Texas Public Information Act, Government Code Chapter 552, and criminal-history dissemination provisions in Government Code Chapter 411. Those laws do not turn this private site into a record custodian.
